Amanda Bashmakova’s intense vocals simmer alongside growling bass, thumping drums, ethereal synths and wicked guitars in a grooving cacophony spearheading the band’s expedition into new sonic territory. Captain Sensible is the first track in a quartet of singles, which will collectively make up the independently released EP titled “After My Happy Ever After”.

In conversation about the track, frontwoman Amanda said: “It is simply about being head over heels for someone. You think they’re the best for you but you lose your sense of self in the process. You feel like nothing without that person and if they were to leave you’d cease to exist.”

Released with an accompanying music video, directed by Cainan Alpin, it features vocalist Amanda, in the role of the white clad innocent, traversing the rolling hills of England to find all the pieces of ‘the perfect man’.
